ECB AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AGREE ON EXECUTION OF STRUCTURAL WORKS.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany -- The following information was released by the European Central Bank (ECB):

The European Central Bank (ECB) and the construction company Baresel GmbH today agreed that Baresel would complete the structural works for the new double office tower up to the ground floor. The works include the construction of the basement of the double office tower and of the underground staff car park.

The contracts for the other building elements are not affected and work is proceeding as planned. The date of completion of the new premises remains unchanged and is scheduled for the end of 2013, with the ECB moving in thereafter, i.e. in 2014.
