Fed: Reform wheat watchdog, Democrats say

The Democrats say the wheat export watchdog must be overhauled .. before Australia's
international reputation can be fixed.

Democrats leader LYN ALLISON says Australian companies which do business in sensitive
geo-political environments should also adopt a code of conduct.

Senator ALLISON's called on the Prime Minister to overhaul the Australian Wheat Board
.. following the scandal over its alleged payments to former Iraqi dictator SADDAM HUSSEIN.

She says it's made Australia look pretty tatty in the world scene .. because it broke
sanctions committed to .. long before the war in Iraq.
