Tas: Fox carcass sparks national evvironmental emergency: Greens

The Greens say Tasmania's standing as a virtual Noah's Ark of rare and endangered species
.. could be threatened by the latest discovery of a dead fox.

Party leader BOB BROWN says yesterday's discovery of a fox carcass in the north midlands
.. is bad news for animals under threat from the feral pests.

And .. wildlife biologist NICK MOONEY's told ABC radio the carcass's age confirms foxes
are breeding in the state.
