WASHINGTON, DC -- Webley Systems, Inc., a leading provider of unified messaging and communications services, commonly known as "personal assistants," announces that Michael M. Connors, President Emeritus of AOL Technologies, has been named Chairman of the Webley Systems Board of Directors.

Connors served as the chief technical executive for America Online, the world's leading Internet service, for six years. He resigned the position of President of AOL Technologies in 1998 to become President Emeritus and to join the board of the AOL Foundation, which develops programs to use the power of computer networks to improve the lives of families and children and empower the disadvantaged.

Webley Systems, Inc.'s unified communications and messaging system, Webley, integrates computers, the Internet and telephony to provide a more simplified and effective communications service for users.
