Vic: Four classrooms destroyed by fire
A fire at a school in Melbourne's outer east early today has destroyed four classrooms
and caused about $300,000 in damage.
The fire broke out in two portable classrooms at the Yarra Road Primary School in Croydon
North, about 1.50am (AEST), and quickly spread to two others.
The Country Fire Authority says it took 35 CFA and Metropolitan Fire Brigade firefighters
about 30 minutes to contain the blaze.
The cause is not yet known.
