Vic: Teachers offered wage-holiday compromise

MELBOURNE, Feb 24 AAP - The Victorian government is offering teachers a wage rise in
exchange for a holiday cut, the Premier Steve Bracks said today.

The premier confirmed the shortened holidays proposal was "on the table" in enterprise
negotiations with teachers.

"All things are up for grabs," Mr Bracks told radio station 3AW.

"We're in good faith bargaining, putting on the table things which we think will improve
productivity and for that to have a reasonable and sensible pay rise.
